On Wednesday 11 October, Embraer ERJ-140LR (ERJ-135KL) VH-ZJG operated a pair of flights in and out of Middlemount as JG27/28 then JG23/24. VH-ZJG also visited Middlemount on its 'usual' late afternoon flight on Tuesday 10 October also as JG23/24.
There was one change though to the operating pattern Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRM also calling into Middlemount Aerodrome late on Tuesday 10 October but as RXA9476/9475.
I presume the substitution of the REX SAAB and the two visits by VH-ZJG on Wednesday is as a result of fellow JetGo Embraer ERJ-135LR VH-JGB currently operating an 'around-Australia' charter flight.
Meanwhile, last Tuesday 3 October, VH-JGB did operate into Middlemount operating as JG23/24 from and back to Brisbane. However, ERJ-140LR VH-ZJG flew in and out of Emerald Airport but as JG27/28. It then returned to Emerald Airport on Wednesday 4 October but as JG23/24.
I'm told this was due to crew and other requirements in association with the FIFO charter client - Middlemount Coal.
Finally, over the last week, the JetGo Facebook page posted that the airline's first (possibly of four) larger 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145LR regional jets will soon start its delivery flight from the United States of America (USA) to Australia. The ERJ-145LR is reportedly to be registered as VH-JGR and was photographed wearing the American registration marking of N16999 (SN: 145307).

It previously operated for American carrier Continental Express / Express Jet Airlines and is recently in storage.
