New American Registered (Australian Based) Pilatus PC-12/47E N81DW Pops into CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Wednesday 21 July, new American Registered but Australian based Pilatus PC-12/47E N81DW was noted visiting Emerald Airport.  It looked to arrive from the Sunshine Coast (where it appears to be based) and later departed to Townsville.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 22 July, N81DW returned to Emerald Airport from Townsville before continuing back to the Sunshine Coast.

Of interest, on Tuesday 20 July, N81DW visited Biloela / Thangool Airport, arriving from and later departing back to the Sunshine Coast. 

Also noted visiting Emerald Airport, also on Wednesday 21 July, was BK Hire (Toowoomba) Piper PA-31-350 Navajo VH-TTX which completed its weekly flight from Toowoomba up to Collinsville Aerodrome via Emerald Airport and back.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 21 July, Lloyd Aviation Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900 bizjet VH-PPD was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast.

UPDATE!  On Friday 23 July, VH-PPD departed Hamo and returned to the Gold Coast.

And Pilatus Aircraft PC-24 'Super Versatile Jet' corporate bizjet VH-FGM flew up to Hamilton Island Airport again, this time from Adelaide and Mount Gambier.  It later returned direct to Adelaide.

Finally, also on Wednesday 21 July, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK was finally back in the air, noted calling into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane.  It then departed to Townsville and Cairns.  VH-PSK had flown down to Brisbane to Cairns and Townsville earlier in the day.

And Aerometrex (South Australia) Cessna 421B Golden Eagle VH-ECF continues to complete aerial survey work out of both Emerald Airport and my local Clermont Aerodrome.
