Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Pilatus PC-24 Jet VH-FZQ Pops into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport as "FlyDoc 507" - Plus More!

On Wednesday 14 July, Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) Central Operations Pilatus PC-24 Jet VH-FZQ was noted visiting Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.

The sleek little aeromedical bizjet operated what appeared to be a Patient Transfer flight from or back to Adelaide.  It was noted using the flight number and radio callsign of "FlyDoc 507".

Another bizjet to visit the region, also on Wednesday 14 July, was new SG Aviation Australia / Business Aviation Solutions Gulfstream G-VI (G650ER) bizjet VH-SGA which looked to visit Gladstone Airport.  It appears to arrive from and later depart back to Melbourne (Essendon).

While Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-OLJ visited Rockhampton Airport from its Brisbane base.

UPDATE!  It appears that VH-OLJ visited Emerald Airport from Brisbane on Thursday 15 July.

And Australian Country Choice Properties (Brisbane) Cessna 560 Citation V Encore bizjet VH-ACC departed the company's Babbiloora property for Roma, Toowoomba and Archerfield Airports.

Meanwhile. also on Wednesday 14 July, recently registered Property Maintenance Australia P/L Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-WJA flew up from Orange and Archerfield to Emerald Airport before it then continued to Kidston.  VH-WJA then flew down to Chinchilla Aerodrome.

While Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE made yet another visit to Bundaberg Airport.  It looked to arrive from and depart back to the Gold Coast via the Sunshine Coast.

BK Hire (Toowoomba) Piper PA-31-350 Navajo VH-TTX was noted completing its weekly flight from Toowoomba up to Collinsville Aerodrome via Emerald Airport and back.

And Torrens Creek (Hughenden) based SOCATA TBM700 VH-CEA arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Muttaburra.

Finally, also on Wednesday 14 July, Awesome Aviation (of Perth in Western Australia) Beech 1900D VH-JYA once again flew into Rockhampton Airport from Cairns.  It then departed to Brisbane.


VH-JYA returned to Rockhampton Airport in the afternoon before it was photographed departing back to Townsville and Cairns.
