Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday - RNZAF NH90 Helicopters Depart - RNZAF C-130H Hercules NZ7005 Returns

There were a couple more Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) movements at Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 21 July with C-130H Hercules NZ7005 returning from Townsville, while the two RNZAF NH90 Helicopters - NZ3303 and NZ3304 - departed Rockhampton Airport for Townsville, possibly for good.

The choppers were noted to use the radio callsign of "Warrior Black" as they departed from Rocky together.

Earlier on Tuesday 21 July, RNZAF Lockheed C-130H Hercules transport aircraft NZ7005 returned under heavy skies from Townsville as "Kiwi 851"

NZ7005 later departed to RNZAF Base Ohakea - an operational base of the Royal New Zealand Air Force near Palmerston North.

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Kayanne H for braving the wet weather to capture and then send through these great photos!
