Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQY - Plus More Virgin Australia Embraer E-190s - At Gladstone Airport This Week

On Wednesday 11 November, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 jet VH-QQY was an interesting visitor to Gladstone Airport presumably on a charter of some sort.  It was noted operating as UTY552/553 from and back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, Col has sent through a couple of photos of Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 jets which continue to call into Gladstone Airport on scheduled services from and back to Brisbane.  Col sends through photos of VH-ZPT which operated two services into the port city on Monday 9 November as well as VH-ZPL which called in on Friday 13 November.

Col also send through a couple of photos of a couple of light General Aviation (GA) visitors to Gladstone Airport this week including Old Station (at Raglan) based Cessna 150 VH-RWM.

Bundaberg-based CromAir Cessna 414A VH-CBT was spotted parked on the GA Apron at Gladstone Airport on Friday 13 November.  It later departed back home to Bundy.

Also visiting Gladstone Airport on Friday 13 November was Brisbane-based Cessna 340 VH-LKM which had earlier visited for part of the day from Archerfield.

Finally, Col sends through some nice photos of some recently installed taxiway and apron signage (or Movement Area Guidance Signs - MAGS) at Gladstone Airport.  He says that the LED-lit signs really look nice and certainly make an impact as night!

Thanks mate!
