RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail A30-002 Performs a Missed Approach at Gladstone Airport

A spectacular sight in the skies above Gladstone Airport on Friday 20 November with Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-002 noted performing a practice ILS approach and overshoot onto Gladstone's Runway 10.

It appeared that the Wedgetail flew up from, and then returned to the South after completing the airwork.  It was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Wedgetail 10".
