It had flown across from Nadi, Fiji and was due to land at Rockhampton Airport before dawn, however thick fog saw it divert to Brisbane where it took on fuel before it was eventually able to land in the beef capital during the middle part of the morning.
Again, the B767 was parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport parking apron. It unloaded what looked like a full flight of personnel and their bags.
After being closed up for the day, at the time of writing, N641GT was due to depart Rockhampton Airport for Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (Honolulu), Hawaii but as GTI8510.
UPDATE! It looks like the B767-300(ER) N641GT remained parked at Rockhampton Airport for the night and departed to Honolulu early on Thursday 11 July.
Sincere thanks local plane spotters Scott H, Trevor H and 'IAD' for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos of another great visitor to Rocky!
