Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-041 Pops into Rockhampton Airport

On Monday 8 July, Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-041 was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  It flew down from Townsville and was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Pegasus 9".

After some time on the ground, A40-041 was photographed departing Rocky, this time heading back to Townsville. It was heard to have changed its radio callsign to "Warhorse 251".

Meanwhile, as the sun was setting also on Monday 8 July, an unidentified Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopter made an ever so brief visit to Rockhampton Airport. It arrived from the North and departed to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area and was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Brahman 371".

Sincere thanks to local plane spotter Scott H for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos of the MRH-90 at Rockhampton Airport!
