J Group Aviation (Business Aviation Solutions) Newly Registered Challenger 601-3A Bizjet VH-JEC (ex VH-NSB) Arrives at Hamilton Island Airport

On Tuesday 4 July, J Group Aviation (Business Aviation Solutions) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 601-3A VH-JEC was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Melbourne (Essendon).  It appeared to be staying for at least the night.

The Challenger was only registered in May and seems to be based at Essendon.  Research reveals that VH-JEC was previously registered VH-NSB which was also based at Essendon.

It is the latest corporate arrival into Hamo which seems to still have several visiting bizjets parked around the Airport.  Last Tuesday 27 June, Pegasus Leasing (USA) Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream G-V-SP (G550) N523AC arrived from Townsville, as did Executive Jet Management / Charlie Kilo LLC (USA) Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream G-IV N400CK but on Saturday 1 July.

UPDATE!  I'm told that N523AC departed Hamo for parts unknown on Sunday 2 July.

Also on Saturday 1 July, Homada Pty Ltd Cessna 560XL Citation XLS bizjet VH-XCU arrived and also stayed while Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-DNG also arrived but appears to have departed to the Gold Coast on Monday 3 July.

Finally, after arriving into Hamilton Island Airport on Thursday 29 June, Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD departed back to its Monto Airport base direct on Sunday 2 July.
