Later on Monday 3 July, fellow Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-001 was spotted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport after flying North from Brisbane Airport as "Dragon 13".
Following its airwork at Rocky, A39-001 returned to the South and looked to land at RAAF Base Amberley.
