Virgin Australia (Virgin Samoa) Boeing B737-800 VH-YID Calls into Rockhampton Airport

Making a surprise and very welcome visit to Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 22 September was Virgin Australia (Virgin Samoa) Boeing B737-800 VH-YID.  It operated the VOZ1243/1246 return service from Brisbane.

VH-YID largely operates on Virgin's overseas sectors and in March this year was repainted into the colours and titles of Virgin Samoa - which was preceded by Polynesian Blue - for operations also into Western Samoa and other Pacific Islands.  It also wears the name 'Tapu'itea'.
