Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron N298WA Arrives Back at Bundaberg Airport

After gracing the skies around Bundaberg for half of 2013, Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron N298WA has arrived back at Bundy, touching down from Lord Howe Island on Saturday 13 June after completing the trans-tasman crossing from New Zealand.

N298WA ferried into Bundy from the North Shore Aerodrome near Auckland, New Zealand (where I believe it has been based) via Kerikeri/Bay of Islands and Lord Howe Island where no doubt Customs duties were fulfilled.

It remains parked at Bundy

Meanwhile, over the course of Monday 15 June and Tuesday 16 June, at least four Becker Helicopter Services Bell 206 Jetrangers have been noted calling into Bundaberg after completing training flights North from the Sunshine Coast.

VH-XJK, VH-NXW, VH-WCF and VH-XJQ have all been noted completing airwork at (say) Maryborough and Hervey Bay before proceeding to Bundaberg where they land for a short time.  On each occasion, the Jetrangers return to the Sunshine Coast.
